The new industrial migrants were treated as disposable robots in meatpacking plants in which the job is very jeopardous. Most immigrants in meat packing plants are either undocumented immigrants or H-2A which means temporary working visa. Thus, for industrial meatpacking companies, hiring them when they need, and dumping out them when they do not need is very common. Especially, the workers got fatal injury and no longer be able to work. One idea I counted significant in the passage that “ there is a 100 percent turnover rate annually," These meatpacking companies can change the workers as many times as they can in order to get lot of benefits. These companies use the legislation that companies must give benefits such as health insurance, vacation when workers work more than six months.  These companies use the law in a wrong way so the worker are just used as the same as meats as for the companies' benefits. For instance, building window cleaning job is the most dangerous jobs, American are mostly avoid this job. Thus, the window cleaning agency hire illegal people, or they offer H-2A to the foreigner to work. Many cleaners fall down and die because there is not such a good protection of tool for hanging on the window. Even they die, the company do not care of them because the company can hire as many as they can. Not only that, the dead worker's family does not want to report to government because they are illegal. As Eric Schlosser, the immigrants are victims in meatpacking places. They work hard in the worst and dangerous circumstances, and they are dumped out when they are no longer useful from the company. Now, the government should make strict legislation for immigrants, so the immigrants, who work for Americans, can work fairly

 

Blog 9 summerazing Meatrixs

      In the mid 20th century, big factory farming occupied the land in which family farms used to have live stocks. Now,  small family farms no longer has been  exist because they could not compete with the big corporations ; 90 percent of meats and daily products are from the factory farms.  As corporation put animals so closely in small space, and they lived in without sun light. by the poor circumstance makes animals so sick.  In order to keep the animals alive, shot antibiotics into animals and give them fertilized feeds with growth  hormone. On top of that the excrements from the factory mess up air , sea, and community.




 In " revolting Meatrix" calves are separated from mother cows and they drink blooded milk from milk replacer. Cow's tales are docking and cows are grown by artificial hormone growth. Even one sick cow can modify many cows to be sick because calves drink milk from the milk replacer which is mixed many cow's milk and blood. It means many people have many chances to get sick from the milk from unknown cows.


  Leo and Chickty went slaughter factory in order to save Moopheus. Many employees got injured by faster processing in slaughter house, and  the blood from the injure falls into meats generating E-coli and bacteria. In order to make big margin from the factory, the corporation makes workers to work very fast in poor circumstance.

Imagine that someone checked you 24/7 days, It would be very stressful and uncomfortable as facing my privacy in society. In Google Glass Turn the whole world into Search Giant's Spices?," Tom Leonard states that Google team introduce Google Glass which has the same function with computer , and it also be able to take picture and to upload video as touching the flame of glass. The author has a skeptical view that people's lives may be invaded by the technology device because people can not catch the lighten action for touching of the glass. If one's privacy is published  in public by the devices without the person's permitting, it will be horrible.  I agree with Tom Leonard that Google Glass should not be wear as glass because our pictures will be used where we even do not know and it could make someone committed to suicide.

First, our pictures could be used by someone's business.  when  Leonard says that " it is their ability to take pictures and shoot video footage and uploads it instantly to the internet that is proving most disturbing" This tell us that wherever we go, there is always a possibility to be taken our pictures by someone even without recognizing. It is horrible to hear the bad side of technology devices 's progression. Now there is no place to relax and we have to have tension to look and look around because outdoor, many people could take my picture without my permit. My picture could be used for porn business, or ads for some business. Am I okay with the Google Glass? definitely, "no" I was born human beings, I have the right to protect my privacy. Who has the right to take someone's picture? Google Team should apologized us about being too nosy. For example, Brooklyn model, Christine, was taken her picture during taking Italian class without her permit in New school. And her face was published on the front page of the school's magazine as New school's campaign. She did not know some one took her face because the photographer didn't use camera. She was very frustrated and angry and she sued the school and she won ten million. it was the right action to the user and warning to people whoever mislead the high tech..Thus, as the author dislike the idea of using, I oppose the idea of wearing the Google Glass because I could be the victim of high tech  which is Google Glass.

Second, Google Glass could make someone sham and kill themselves. we should know that the progress tech "Google Glass" should not be used taking video or uploading web. Human being has feeling and emotion so  when our secret is revealed , we could be shocked. No one wants to be detected by any one and even more, we do not want some one to watch our each activity because we are human. As the author mention, " such fears pale into insignificance when one consider what they mean for the wears privacy" this tell us we would engage criminal whether you want to be or not so we already joint into crimes." For example,
Tyler Clementi (December 19, 1991 – September 22, 2010) was an eighteen-year-old student at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey, who jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge on September 22, 2010. On September 19, his roommate, Dharun Ravi, saw Tyler kissed  with the same gender through the web cam and upload Twitter to everyone to watch. Thus, Tyler killed himself and Dharun is having jail time. My point is that Google Team should not make people to make more crimes. If Google Glass is misusing these wrong ways, we will have a trouble with human's moralities and ethics. Be aware. we do not have to follow every each single of high tech progressions.

In conclusion, We should know how the high tech invade our privacy and we have to against to high tech programmers who are  far more from morality and ethics. We should prepare the next technology which closer our lives and attack our lives. Do not forget, we could be victims of the Google Glass which always watching over us.

blog 13 XXXL Why are we so fat

In "The Fattening of America," Eric Finkelstein, a health economist states that American have become fat because food's prices have become cheaper than before. Also, mostly fattening food and beverages have been discounted especially from1983 to 2005. He said that cheap price of  food and drink makes Americans getting fat. Thus, he insists that  the most reason of American's overweight is the lower price of foods.

Well, I am not going to deny all to his reason for American's fattening. However, I want to say that it is a part of the reason not all .American have become fat because of the industrial revolution's creatures.

First , easy transportation made Americans fat. After car, train, and auto mobile was invented, most people have started driving or riding the transportation because it is convenience and it saved time reaching at working place on time. However, people didn't walk as much time as they should so, the energy for burning energy was accumulated in human's bodies. Thus, Americans have been fattening.

Second, TV and Computers is holding Americans on the coach. After eat meals, people mostly sit on coach in front of TV and computer because these entertain you and attract you to watch drama, shows, sports whatever you are interested in. Thus, people do not want to see friend or for a walk in park, or spend time playing with your kids. So, where the calories suppose to go? In air, in the garbage can or your bank account? It only goes in your bodies. Not only that, the ads food and the cooking channels makes people to try to cook more and buy more. Thus, When the author says " Americans started to put on pounds because of cheaper prices" I think he make people cheap. People is very important for human being so people are not going to buy more and eat more food because of that.

Third. busy daily schedule makes people fattening. After the revolution, many  people spend most time at work, at school, for something. By the reasons, we really do not have time, and we are so tired from work. Thus, we are looking for food from restaurant which offer cooked food or we can buy food which is already processed. So, when Finkelstein say that Americans become fat because of cheaper food. I want to say eating outside is cost. He should know that so many rich people, who are busy and lazy, also overweight and eat food in high ending restaurant.

 In sump, There is not only certain reason to be more fattening, and it is really complex reasons. Thus, I want to say the author's dispute doesn't make me understand the reason for American's overweight. I want to say it is all from the revolution's bad part of modern's creature such as technology devices and easy transportation.

 

blog 11 "Happy meal"

1. the author tell us that  our meal should go back to old fashion ways in which the food is natural and was not processed. Also, we have to check all of ingredient and  avoid the food in which we do not really know about the words on indication. On top of that do not buy foods which is already issue in market. Thus, the author ask us to go whole food market and to eat a lot of vegetables. Nevertheless whole food is expensive, we should go with quality not quantities. If, possible, let's have our own garden and cook foods with our hands, and eat the food.

2. Actually, it is not that hard avoiding processed food because my taste is the same as grant-grand mother's taste. I do not like process food like Mayonnais, Ketchup, Sausages, Milk, Chess, Chip. Most food I eat is that vegetables. I used bamboo salt in which sea salt is bake in bamboo 9 time in bamboo when I cook. I mostly steam vegetable and eat. I have already read so many book about food that my sister, nurse, food expert sent me before. I also mostly used bamboo salt when I sick and avoid take pills.
 However, the problem is that what I should eat when I have to have meals with my friends outside. when I discuss about food with my friend and co-worker, they told me I am crazy. They asked me the air is already polluted where is organic foods. Also, they told me I can be able eat all organics not even skip one thing. They told me if i cannot, It means what is purpose to have whole food. I think their argue also make it sense because half organic and  half not means that I have is not all organic. I explained them that the mouse which take a little poison have more possibility to survive that mouse who had a lot of poison. However, I feel uncomfortable the time I have to have meal with friends who do not have critical thinking about processed food. Should I avoid to meet my friends? I cannot find any restaurant for people who looking organic food. Even if there is restaurant that use organic, I cannot trust whether they really cook the organic foods or not.  If my friend is not aware about foods and do not want to spend money for the organic restaurants. If it is only about me, I can handle but not for others.
Nothing impossible, my family and me is more crazy about whole food.

There is a word in my country, South Korea " stagnant water is rots" It means if water is not flow but stay at one spot, It would be spoiled. Thus, when I think about bottle water, it is not fresh as Tap water. The Quote really bothering me is that "bottle water is safer than top water" Come on how it could be safer than tap water which is regulated by the EPA. I do not agree with the quote. Think about this, when tap water have been flown, the water in bottle stay on spot. Also, people buy lager bottle (2 liter) in order to save money, and they carry and sip the water in bottle until they finish. Do you think it is safe? I read an article which warn us not to drink water after opening the cap of the water bottle because bacteria thrive about the entrance of bottle. Also, preserves is added in water of bottle in order to prevent water's decay. I want to say that preserves is not safe. And you should think water in the bottle doesn't breath and it can't take o2 from the air. We drink dead water and we think we are safe. HaHaHa, we have to aware! To illustrate, I used to drink bottled water " Fiji" because I thought it really came from Fiji. One day I bough the largest bottled Fiji and I carried and drank it while I hiked to the Blue mountain. I started stomach pain when I come back to home. I could not have patience so I had to go to Elmhurst hospital. When he asked me what I had all day long, I told him I had vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, lettuces and bottle water. He checked my stomach and told me I am sick of bacteria from the bottle that I all day long as sipping the water. According to the doctor, once you open the bottle, you can't keep the them more 6 hours because it is the spot bacteria can modify the lives. Thus, when I advocate the quote that should we drink tap water which was already check its quality by the EPA . Fresh tap was is much more safer that the bottled water that we even not sure how long the water has been in the bottle. Thus, it is not fresh, and if  it is not fresh, it is old. If it  is old supply, it would be not safe.

• 1. I really like Plato's piece " Unexamined life is not worth living"(blog4) because it reminded the book "Demian" by Hermann Hesse which is my favorite book. He said that one young bird come out from the eggshell, it accompanies with a lot of suffering in order to break the wall. I had been too struggling with my Korean culture which I want to call "cage" for women. However, I could not resist, break up, and confront to the wall. Actually, I was not brave enough to fight with my culture which women belong to men so that I escaped from there to the United state. I thought this country is the one which is new world and new knowledge I found. However, I realize that there is not end of knowledge and we will confront the wall until we die. Digging the piece of Plato made me re-think of my life that how I am going to live the rest of my life. Even though I know I have to fight with the true, but really I have to do? this theme did not go away on my head. I like blog 4 because I put my all energy and I proud of it no matter how messy grammar is. Also, I had a complement from Dr. Gallardor that I made a very nice response. It encouraged me to looking forward to the future which is CATW. I proud my essay because I can see my essay is getting longer than the beginning of this semester.

•   2. I have been learning a lot of things from this class. Especially, organizing the structure, which was my weaker part of CATW. As  writing every topic at the beginning of paragraph , it helps my writing not to get off the main track  that I want to talk. Also, through this semester, I found out that, I very often run away from thesis  of  the articles. For example, when article tells us about park, I discussed about something different subject like sea. it was my main problem. I have thought about developing have to be totally  a different story from the article because it is called "develop". However, it wasn't that way, I must keep the main idea and I should add my opinion. Now my knowledge about CATW is clear, and I really know that what I should write. It won't happen like before as ending up my essay with vague and unclear story with facing up with totally different story from the article. On top of that, my professor pointed out my bad habit that I do not proofread and I will keep working on that. Hopefully, I will not make another failure any more. I learn this from my super smart professor so that I will prove.
• My biggest is issue is grammar, and I think it takes  a little while. However, I will keep practice as copying some articles which my professor posted on the blog. Also, I have to try to write brainstorm in short time and read articles  as fast as I can . On top of that, I will search some good examples for the CATW, and I will try to watch some movies which could be helped for me. Also, the best strategy is that I will eat some chocolates and almonds which make me calm down little bit more, and have good rest before the exam date. In addition, I will not forget proofreading, and checking all the points such as the author's name, evidences, referring to the article, theses and claims. In order to pass the CATW,  I will write four essays for  the rest  weeks from the date, and I will bring them to the tutors in writing center, Room 200.

blog 7 (#1 does knowledge make you happier)

1.            Some people say that knowledge makes them happier, but others say that it doesn't. I think it all depends on who you are, and what you expect things in your life. For me, knowing something that I have not known is the most pleasure and happiness for me. In my country, South Korea, there is a word that it is not valuable hanging pearl necklace in pig's neck and knowing knowledge is the power. It means, having a knowledge is privilege for human beings not for animals. Thus, I would like to say knowledge makes us happier because we can have a convenient life, we will not be deceived by people or situation.                                                                                     
          More knowledge makes our lives more convenient. To illustrate, A long time ago, when weather forecast had not been developed yet, people couldn't predict weather so that many people had been victims by storming, hurricane. However, since human beings have studied the weather in which we used to believe that bad weather was happened by God's fury, we have been able to predict the weather. Thus, we can be able to prevent our disaster or we can select the good weather to sailing boat, going picnic or having events outside. By the reason, I think knowing knowledge is the most bliss for our lives so we are happier to find out what we have not know. Without digging knowledge, there is no such developing or progressing entire of our lives. I know there is always a pain to learn and need to put effort. However, once you get the knowledge, you will have feather to do next. It would be convenient for our lives. Look at the result from new technology which have been developed from past, we can get news from the opposite side of the earth by Internet, and we can see my mother's face, who is not be able to come to the united state, as using Skype. What a laze person do not want to know anything? Are chicken to know new world? If you close your eyes with your both hands, there would not be the sun in the world? As Morpheus and Socrates say that knowing and recognizing is not that simple process, it may accompany painful experiences and feelings. However, when we get over the pains, we become smart to use the knowledge and we will have easy lives.                                                                                                                                                                                    What is more! having knowledge doesn't make your feeling miserable, but it will help you to avoid disadvantage. For instance, what is going on in the diamond industry?   Diamond companies started diamonds' price down dramatically since they had economic crisis in 2008 and diamond labs compromised with them upgrading diamonds. Buying jewelry is usually the last thing for a living when people have financial problems. Thus, diamonds owners have to find out the solution in order to survive in the crisis so almost 90 percent of diamond companies excepting famous branded companies such as Tiffany, De beers, have sold diamond cheap prices. However, it is not really cheaper price because there was a trick that the diamond companies make diamond quality up grade. Actually, customers buy low quality diamonds with high price. Sadly, No one knows that if people do not have knowledge about diamond. Most jewelry stores have diamonds which certified by diamond lab. When diamonds have certifications, no one can not against the sellers with the diamonds' qualities because it already was proved by labs. If you know about diamonds which is knowledge, you can be able to avoid bad quality diamonds and you will not be the victim of deceiving from ignorance. Another example," the necklace" by guy de Maupassant, Losiel who wants to go high class party, but she does not have any jewel to wear. She borrows diamond necklace from her friend to go to the party. Unfortunately, she lose it and she buys the same necklace with debt so she spends her whole life in order to pay back the bank. After a long, when she visits her fried who lent her the necklace, she found out that the diamond was fake. How terrible story is! Knowing the truth changes one's life and having knowledge releases suffer from ignorance. Do you want Losiel to live her life without knowing the truth until she dies? and suffering forever? As Socrates said, she might be painful when she found that truth, but I guarantee that the pain is a few second, but her happiness was more than triple after finding the truth.

In " A Smoking Ban Too Far" Michael. B. Siegel states that the City Council allows smoking ban in New York in order to protect non-smokers in open places such as parks, beaches. However, he notices that prohibiting smoking at broad places is far a way from the main purpose which keeps non smokers' health proper from smokes because not only people can avoid the smokes as moving on one another places but also, the place is huge enough to circulate air. According to Researchers at Stanford, they say that people will have disadvantage from tobacco smokes when they are really closer to smokes even open places. Nevertheless, nobody finds out or prove facts how much the smokes affect non smokers' health when non smokers have some distance which is more than three feet in big area. So far, secondhand smokes in open space did not inform how badly affect people's heath. Also, surgeons general's office proclaims that when nonsmokers are keep exposed from smokes, they would have health problem such DNA damages. As the surgeon general office says, it is possible to have from one time DNA damages from any occasion. In sump up, smoking opponents do not have enough reasons to support banning smoking in open public place in New York. In addition, many other states still allow people to smoke even in small places such as bars, restaurants, clubs.

      Actually, I was the person who really did not like someone's command or rules. Thus, most of my life,I didn't obey anyone. When I was in high school, we had separated class rooms for female and male students. Every students were annoyed by the rule, but no one tried to break rule because we knew that we will have punishment. However, I broke the rule and I often sneak to male's class room to talk because I hated the rule which took over our freedom. Also, my school hold senior students until 10pm in class rooms in order to we prepare the entry exams for colleges just like S.A.T. Nevertheless, I didn't stay at the class because they commanded us to stay late. While other students were studying in the classes, I went to theater to watch new movies. I thought it was my right to choose what I want to do. On top of that, when I was a college student, I lived in dom. There also, had many rules in which students should be in the dormitory before 10pm. I didn't care of the rule because the rule was ridiculous. From the disobedience, most likely, I had punishment from the dormitory instructors. I think that disobedience or obedience is from one's personality or character which is made when someone is mothers' wombs or while they were infants. If someone were born with an obedient person, he/she would obey in any kind of circumstance and situations. Unlikely me, even if some give me an easy way of life or impeccable setting, I never accept it because I was born with the character that I never satisfied with anything, but i like to choose challenging or adventuring of the way to the opposite

In school in past, I had more fun expecting teacher's reaction, punishment,with curiosity when I didn't obey them. I really hated when people made limitation which I had never understood. I do not want to say I did right thing but I still want to say I didn't do wrong thing either. I know that people need some restriction in order to keep perfect world. Nevertheless, people are all different so it will not be happen to have impeccable world. In world, if there is minus, there will be plus too. I just want to say co-existence in world. Sea heaven will be  when we die.

Not only my family including me, but also my relatives including my grandparents were Buddhist. One day, a female stopped my home, she asked me whether I knew about Jesus and what is Christian, and then she asked me to go her church. I was so wondering about new thing what I heard. A few days later, I followed to her church, and I listed to her about Christian. As soon as I came back home, I told my family that Jesus is the son of God, without him through, we could not go heaven, and he died of cross for our lives. They did not believe me, they asked me not to say about Christian, they asked me not to go to the church.  I totally believed that Jehovah was the only God and I said them there is no any God in the world. However, my family couldn't listen to me because they had never heard about the Jehovah. One of the biggest tradition holiday, Thanks giving, my family went to grandparents' house. When I told them about Christian, they were mad on me, and they told me that if I keep talking about Jesus and going to church, they would take my name from family's. people do not want to accept something new even if it is true.

My boss, who is originally from Texas, is a gay man, but he didn't recognize himself as a gay until he came to New York City. In his first year of living in the city, he found out his sexual tendency, and he decided getting marry to his partner. When he went to his home town which is the most controvertible state, Texas, His parents, his friends, and his neighbors was about to kill him. My boss and his partner came back to New York. My boss told me he also had hard time himself the fact and he did not force his parent to understand him. Yes, it is people always have difficult adopting new one.

I have been oversea from my country more than 15years and I have been a few countries. My eye have seen a lot of things that my friends have not seen and experienced. Sometime I visited my friends and my family, I easily found out that they didn't want to accept my life which I learn from out this country. I feel many time a gap. 

In plato "unexamined life is not worth living"

       The difference between human beings and animals is that human beings can think, but animals cannot. However, our lives were confined by which people already  made forms before. Thus, we do not like to accept new thing that we never experience, and they struggle and conflict with them when they get something new.  In Plato’s” the allegory of the cave,” Socrates tells a story to his students to explain that we live an unexamined life. We live a closed life, always on the same level of knowledge, were increased that knowledge. The illusion are created by our culture/ society, and we believe these illusion to be “real.” When we are given knowledge, we become free of these illusions, but gaining knowledge is a slow painful process. Gradually, we become wise. When we try to explain what we have learned, what is “real”  to others, we fail because they deny or cannot understand the truth. They conclude that the person who attain knowledge is ridiculous , stupid, or crazy.- and dangerous.  I agree with Plato when he says that people do not want to accept new concepts because people afraid of having conflict,people pretend to keep their own thing and people do not want to loose their authority.

       First, Even we want to change our life, we give up the challenge because of fear of conflicting.  For example, in "Lean in" by  Sheryl Sand berg, Face Book CEO, she says our mother's generation had been treated unequally with men a long time ago. As women educated, they tried hard to get women's equality until they got. I think it was really painful challenge and hard work to get the right in that society that men really did not accept gender equality.  However, nowadays, women's lives are much easier than before because modern women stand on our old generation efforts. Sandberg says that  despite of our old women's efforts, many woman who have college degree give up gender equality, because they want to avoid conflicting between men and women. As we know men were naturally dealing with out side work, but women were the one who take care of children. When women are single, it does not matter having jobs or not. Nevertheless, when women give birth to a baby, women have to stay home and they give up their jobs. Wives do not even try to share house work 50/50 with their husbands because they do want to against this rules in which woman are for their children.  Here is my point, women are all the way to have knowledge, but they do not want to apply because they cannot  stand on the fear, so  step themselves back from the right. Thus, instead of  taking risk and having challenge, they choose peace  staying in the old culture. We learn  knowledge from everywhere, but we do not want to use it in the real world .  

            Second, changing one another is totally uncomfortable process. For example, Amish people still  lived without electricity, and they lived in self-sufficient society despite of inconvenience. As Plato mentions that people do not want to  change their life styles because they are so used to be the way they have lived.  Changing is not only a lot of process but also, they want to hold their culture. Also, there is no grantee that new ways would be better than before. On top of that, Amish are afraid of having other people into their community and new comers mass up their rules, and new comers challenge them. It will be pain ass for them.  Even though some Amish people got out of the town to other world, they learned new things, and  they went back to the Amish town to share new knowledge, as we see, Amish people did not accept modern culture.    

       Third, No one wants to be taken away their authority. For example, I think that North Korea is the one have never opened their door to the world as keeping communism. Kim jung un, 26years old, who just received the power of controlling  of the country, knows that people in the world have freedom, many countries do trades together, and many people do not struggle with food like his people. I think he may want to open his country's door to the world, but he cannot because his authority will be taken away.

 I learned that we almost on the passage in which when I evaluate Hype2 as passing essay, most of my classmates graded as the essay as passing. Nevertheless, when I one of Hype essays as failing essay, many peope grades as failing essay. Thus, an passing essay has elements for passing, but an failing essay did not have enough to support to be passed.

 There have always been some rumors in society wherever you go because we are human beings, and people get excited having some facts [vague] whether it  is [they are] true or not.  In the article "I Know the Truth, So Don't bother Me with Facts" by Jeffrey Kluger,  he states that people easily believe gossips which are not really true. The author shows [uses] the example of people being fooled by the Ground Zoro case in which people oppose a Mosque at Ground Zero that is not even real plan.  Researchers at Ohio States university studied 750 people who believed more than one rumor among rumors surrounding Mosque, and researchers found out how 750 people reacted when the rumors came out with real a truth [confronted with the truth].  As a results, Garret and Nisbe proved that people easily adopted  [believed] rumors and depended on their emotion such as frustration, fury, and anxiety which are related with negative emotion.  [I am not quite sure what you mean to say here] On top of that, people usually stand and do not want to reverse on their previous beliefs even though it is a [they are] not true. I agree with Jeffrey Klufer when he says that people want to believe what they want to believe even though it is lies. The reasons is  because rumors is  do not really affect people's lives, and it gives a little bit of exciting  [excitement]. Also, there is not such punishment like a jail time as [for] believing rumors and easy to hang in lies.[I do not know what you mean here]

  People likes talking about rumors almost always, and they like to depend on rumors because people know that believing lies do not cost and it doesn't ruin people's lives.  Kluger point out that people does not take rumors that seriously whether it is verified or not, so people go ahead with their previous believes and they do not even bothered believing false story.  For example, when I was 17 year-old, there was a scary rumor in which human's finger was cut off  by an accident during the manufacturing of ice bar, ,named Scru Bar and a red color. Once, the rumor had been spread throughout  South Korea, people started to believe the story and no one wanted to buy the ice bars because there are afraid of getting the chance to have that. A few months later, the ice bar company announced that it was just a rumor by an employee who was fired from the company. However, people liked to listen to the rumor, and some people excited about finding out the illusion of finger. Sadly, I found that people like and enjoy fake story because it doesn't cost, it doesn't affect their lives as loosing money or people .However , I think that someone, or some groups may loose money or reputation so I think If some rumors was verified as lies, we should change our mind set.  [this idea needs to be rephrased so it is more straightforward] As I mention the above, the company not only loose some revenue, but also, they lost their reputation. I think stick with untrue affect our lives. 

In addition,   as the author points out, people does not want to change their beliefs because it is easy to stick with lies,and there is no punishment of believing wrong information.  To illustrate, I know that many people in the world believe that "Dog Do", which is Korea's Island, is Japan's Island because Japanese spread the rumors and they made people believe that the island is their territory. My country proved that the island is as our island in which the distance is closer my county, South Korea, and people who have lived on the island for five thousand years known as Korean. However, South Korean proved the true as showing many historical records and evidences that "Dog Do is Korean's. Nevertheless, many people who are not Korean in the world would not want  to change believing Dog Do is Korean's  because there are not punishments believing rumors. Sadly, "Dog Do Island" is still known as Japan's on the world map. South Korean still have been fighting with the Japan because they have made people believe the rumors, and people still have accepted  the lies. As the author describes, people do not even want to be bothered their mind. Unfortunately,  There are always some victims by the rumors like my country, and I am really afraid of that people believe that Dog Do Island is Japan's land. Most people don't mind that if the rumors are not about themselves ,so they want to hang in rumors . [notice you are repeating the same ideas over and over] If people stand on with lies, people would be confused by the rumors and  society would be unjustified.  I really want  that there should be   some punishment for people who believe some unproved stories so that  no one would not stick with lies. Believe or not rumors, it is their choices.

Sump up, as the Kluger , changing mind is not really easy for people, if it is about rumors. We are living in [something missing here]  full of rumors and Gossips whether that they are not true. Nevertheless, people do not want to fix their false beliefs because they think they do not need to correct them. However, I doubt that it is really good for all of people and healthy mind? I want to say it is not, and there are many victims by the untrue stories. So, I want to people being aware and rejecting rumors.

Revise "HYPE"

     Whatever too much is worse than less. In the article "Hype" by Kalle Lasn, the author states that too many ads interrupt and mess up our minds . Nowadays, we can see commercial ads almost always everywhere so that there is no ways to be relaxed from those. Lean points out that we even just one step out from home, we automatically confront those. Not only that, in the house, we can watch or listen to those ads as moving our fingers on limo controls for watching tv or clicking the mouse of the computers. The author mentions that it is just too much so that it invades our peaceful minds. Thus, it makes us stressful. As the author acknowledges that we need  freedom from ads, we should try to ban some of ads. Otherwise, we will become mental slavers by the ads. I not only agree with the author what he says the above, but also, I would like to add one more thing that we have to protect our kids from the commercial ads which are  everywhere and most time in our lives because our children do not know which is right ads or not.

      Not even three decades ago, there is not much ads, and we could watch ads in certain time and places, so we really did not think that  the commercial ads kill us and our children's mind. I thump up one hundred percent when he says that " No longer are ads confined to the usual places." When I was 10 years old, 30years ago, having a tv or computer was only for limited people who were super rich in my country, South Korea. We and our children spent time with friends out side as playing real a play such as hind and seek. we only gathered a few times at one's house who had a tv in order to watch the world Olympic or the boxing which was the most interesting game at the time. At a limited time and places that we only were be able to watch the ads that did not ruin our mental ,and it didn't dominate our lives . Now, we have so many technology devices to watch and listen the ads easily  every single minutes. Sadly, seeing ads is an huge part of our lives. I feel that I am the slaver of the ads because I automatically buy goods after seeing or listening  some ads. I feel the ads control my brain to obey them. Thus, I feel that we are the victims from ads. I want  government to limit of time or places of the ads.

       Under teenage, they really do not have the abilities of judgment so that they adopt, copy, or absorb everything they see or listen. Actually, they not even know the meaning of  the song they sing, but they just memorize and sing them. By the reason, I think that we really limit the over flowing of ads for places and times. When the author mentions that " Now I hear that kid singing the Oscar Meyer wiener song", it alarms me. I do not want to my kid to copy the commercial ads or sings which are not proper for our kids. Once I had a terrible experience that my kid flew second floor as copying the Pepsi ads in which the actor had a power after drinking the Pepsi soda and then he flew the sky. My son got heave injury as copying the ads. One more time, I want to make it sure that commercial ads everywhere and every time in our lives, it makes our lives so much stress and anxiety. In addition. I want government to make bans for time and places of ads.

 My kids are not pets and I can't  put them in cages not to do anything. Also, I can't confine their activities. As Lasn illustrates, there is not limitation for ads so we and our kids are exposed by ads everywhere. One day, I was on the way to come back to home with my kids, and we saw an ad that  girls are almost naked and kissing together. My little kids asked me what they were doing, what kinds of places for those. I was ashamed, and I was afraid of my kids that they find out which is disguise.  Kids' minds are  so clean, but they have lots of curiosities. I really want that there is some bans for ads.

      In sum up, as the author points out, we are living in over-flowing ads, and we do not have any peace of mind because of too much of  ads. If commercial companies have the rights to advertise, we also have the right to protect my kids from all junks of ads. In order to protect ourselves, our government make some polish for the us and we should try to the way in which we have less commercial ads.
