blog 13 XXXL

In Book 3: Fat Land, the book speaks about a random man named David Wallerstein. He ran theatres in the Midwest with numerous of movies. He was wondering how to up the sales of popcorn.  He tried various of merchandise techniques that did not work. He thought about doubling the size of the boxes that carry the popcorn. The author of Fat Land, Greg, said "one night the answer came to him: jumbo-sized boxes."After all, it became successful. Mr. Wallerstein retired from the movie business and was a board of director for a fast-food restaurant. McDonalds had a similar problem as the one in his movies business career. He simply said to supersize the serving which became successful as well.
As a reader, I disagree from a customer point of view because it is every unhealthy. Yes, this help the business aspect when supersizing the bags but its very unhealthy. David Wallerstein, when working for Mcdonald's board of directors, double the size of the bag that holds French fries. That can make more calories for your body. Like David said, "they don't want to eat two bags- they don't want to look like a glutton.'' That quote convinced ray kroc, the company founder, to sell supersized bags.
From personal experience, I have watch plenty documentaries about people trying mcdonalds daily, and getting sick or getting fatter. I say make smarter choices.
