Blog 5 Truman and Me

In the article  "The Truman Show"Jim Carry shows that Truman Burbank main character of the movie lives in an artificial world constructed especially for him.Truman  born and raised in Seahaven  works in a insurance company.Every day he see the same people, and live unhappy with his wife.Tired from this life he wants to get way by going to Fiji to find his love a college girl named Silvia who is trying to fix her face in the office and  supposedly lives there.Trying to go there by bus or flights it is impossible but taking the boat he comes up against difficulties and finally he discovered stairs. He realized that his life has been manipulated but Christofer his producer "father" who tried one more time to dissuade him but by repeating his catchphrase "In case I don't see you good afternoon, good evening and good night" he gives end to his artificial life to get freedom.I agree with the Truman show because everyone doesn't like to be obedient but likes to live free and have a normal life.                                                                                                                                                             To begin with sometimes we have to accept subordination.Born and raised in Albania seems like Truman's life. For 40 years from 1945- 1985 Albanians used to live in  dictatorial rules by leader of Albania Enver Hoxha. His rules such as elimination of the opposition, death penalty or long prison and evacuations from their homes and internment in remote villages were strictly controlled by secret police. People were afraid to talk and express their ideas about movies or news. They were talking to each other about unimportant things or stories. People were afraid to weir good because others will ask  ,Where did you buy this? and there was no answer. People were afraid to think differently. They always knew and believed in what the saw a life full ignorance about culture, tradition, customs and religion for other states ,ignorance about media and education..Even thought there were best students no one had the opportunity to study in the best college in Europe or U.S.A.his power eliminated adults illiteracy and learned Albanian toward become agriculturally and self-sufficient.My example show that people couldn't live free .Unity, struggle and negation for education and religion guided their lives for 40 year. This life ended in April 1985 when Enver Hoxha died.People started to think differently They went in different states such as Greece, Italy, Germany, England, U.S.A for freedom and better life.Living in a cave such as communism gave people less opportunity for everything , a lot of stress and struggle.                                                                                                                                                                  Living in communistic dictatorship gave to me less opportunity to learn on time. After I finished High school I couldn't study  in the major I wanted ( teacher elementary school )even thought I was one of the best students in High school because of the system. On the other hand my parents had to work hard to support my necessities for(food, clothes and books) and I couldn't help my self because they were no jobs and because of schedule of the school full time. After graduated from University I started work. Working as a teacher elementary school in 1-4 grade I learned that my students had the best opportunity to study what they want and where they want.Opportunity to learn a lot languages and to study in public and private schools that in my years of education didn't exist  because of system.Coming  in New York 5 years ago because tired of the situation in Albania gave me opportunity to learn and explore a lot of things in the world.I met different people,I learned new languages, new cultures tradition and religions.I leaned new rules and best opportunities in education .My example shows that freedom is a big opportunity for everyone , opportunity  to think and live free.
