Blog #6 http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/17/health/diabetes-complications-show-sharp-decline-report-finds.html?src=xps

In the article “ For Diabetics, Health Risks fall sharply, Sabrina Tavernise and Denise Grady states how much diabetes disease had increased. Now a day, it is incredible how in certain way our society have being affected by diabetes disease. As we know diabetes is a chronic disease caused by the high blood sugar. I agree with both authors because there are many reasons of why we should stop eating or drinking sweetness food. Diabetes never comes by it self, always gain more health problems such as: Heart Attack, Kidney failure and Amputations.

According to my own knowledge people tends to suffer more of heart attack because when the blood sugar is high, it block out the arteries. Which, is who is in charge to bring the oxygen to the heart and when the heart cannot get enough oxygen is when the heart attack occur.

Moreover, high blood pressure can damage blood vessels throughout the body. If blood vessels in the kidneys are damaged, the kidneys are less able to do their job of removing waste and fluid from the body. This accumulated fluid can cause the blood pressure to increase even more. Eventually, the kidneys may fail completely.

Nevertheless, between all the high blood sugar difficulties there is one that unfortunately is the most common in people that had being diagnosed with this disease, which is amputation.  An untreated high blood sugar can damage the nerves of our body and once this organ is damaged there is no other solution of cut this organ out to save this person life.

Last of all, diabetes is a very dangerous disease that can take away someone life just by the high blood sugar pressure. In order to avoid this cardiovascular problem and gain more health problems such as heart attack, kidney failure and amputations we have to take care of ourselves more by having a healthier meal and going more often to doctor office to do a physical test.

Not bad, but wouldn't you say that an informative essay such as this would not exactly be what would be chosen for the CAT-W? It would have to be something like "XX makes diabetes worse" so you could argue with it.
