Blog 3: Response to "I Know the Truth, so Don't Bother Me with Facts."


In “I Know the Truth, So Don’t Bother Me with Facts” Jeffrey Kluger states that people deny the truth when it conflicts with their beliefs. R.kelly and erik Nisbet assistant professor at Ohio State University study with people and they find out two major conflicts that people easily manipulate by facts and some of them provide confusing thoughts. However, people are stick with their believes even though they are wrong. R.Kelly Garrett is right when he argues that when people know their beliefs is wrong that time they want to stick with their believe more because of their ego, scared about new things, want to stay with their culture.

People love to stick with their ego because it is simple reason that they do not want to believe the new things. For example, many people in America they believe that immigrant are bad influence for this country because they
