“Bottled water is safer than tap water”. Nowadays, there are
people that are still thinking that public or tap water is more liable to bacteria
and has less quality then bottlers water. The reason of why those people think
that way is because they absolutely trust in bottler’s water company by seeing
the safety advertisements in the bottled water and by thinking that those companies has the equipment
needed to purify the water. But,
in the reality tap or public water is safer than bottler’s water. Because,
bottlers water companies are regulated by the FDA which means that they don’t require
the Annual water quality report, at difference of public water that is
regulated by the EPA which does require it. It’s surprising how a lot of people
spend a big quantity amount of money every week by buying bottle of water, when
basically what they are doing is paying for the bottle and making those
companies wealthier by drinking public water packed in a clear bottle because as
I said those companies aren't require to have an annual check either to label
the source of the water. Per example couple months ago my bottle water finished
and I was so thirsty that I have no other option of drink the sink water and
afterwards I found out that they taste were similar so I researched the
difference between tap water and bottle water and the difference was that
bottlers water companies makes the water tasty to make it different from the
public water. However, what I learned is that in reality we should stop thinking
that bottle water is better or safer than public water along of trust in those
companies because their purpose is to make money without care about our health.
In addition, I suggested that instead of being buying manufacture water and
spend that much money every week, we should start drinking public water because
at the end is more safe than those companies. And if there are any issues by
trusting in public water, we can buy household filters that would do a better
job than bottler’s water companies plus it will be cheaper than be paying for just
for a plastic bottle.
